This photograph was taken at a ploughing match near Caergwrle in the 80s, it is actually two photographs 'mixed' in the
darkroom before things like 'photoshop' were around, its a copy of my original print.
'Ploughmans dreams' because the horse plough man will be dreaming of the day tractors take over the hard days work of
ploughing the land, and the tractor driver dreams of the nostalgia of ploughing with horses!
I think the heavy work horses are my favourite type of horse and I love to see them working at ploughing matches and
vintage rallys, especially when they are well turned out with the all brass and feathers.
